It was Psychology Made Easy, or something like that, he was reading to her. She requested it. And shoulder by shoulder on the tiny bed with a blue blank sheet they were. Or was it her head underneath his right arm hiding from the ceiling light? She graudally felt asleep in his calm and sound voice. Calm and sound.

The wrinkles around his eyes on his face when he laughed. The laughs, and the very naive sights. He read and looked up the words in a pocket dictionary. She was still sleeping when he finished. He had his book and dictionary put aside by the bed. Ceiling light was turned off.





He softly lied back to the bed when this sleeping kitten sleep-moved her head again back underneath his right arm. Hand in hand, ten fingers crossed, hers and his. Sound and calmly they felt asleep along with the night. In their dream, there's this eternal moment of happiness and peace, which lasts for good. The warmth of a loving hug, will, too, remain for good.
